Dean has worked in the Motor Trade for more than 30 years, having completed an apprenticeship at his local garage straight from school at the age of 16. Yorkshire born, Dean has vast knowledge of all different makes and model of vehicle having previously owned an MOT and Repair centre. Dean relocated to Shropshire in 2017 to be closer to family and is privileged to now be running a very busy and successful garage here at Church Road.

When Laurie left The Grange school in 2000, Church Road Garage were lucky enough to engage him as an apprentice. He completed his NVQ training (outgrowing his overalls, several times in the process). With the experience he has gained, he is a key member of the team, and a hit with all the girls!

NVQ Level 3 – Motor Vehicle Engineering
MOT Tester

Miles joined the team having already gained his NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Engineering.

Rupert is now a familiar face around the garage and loves lots of attention and cuddles with all of our customers and delivery drivers. He loves lots of doggy treats and is often found either chewing items he shouldn’t or having a well deserved afternoon nap!

Jack is our off-site old style recovery vehicle here to assist us with daily breakdowns and comes with original horse-power!

Kelly’s friendly smile will often be the first you see when visiting us. Her exceptional organisational skills ensure that work booked in is dealt with efficiently and completed on time.

John joined us in 2001 as an apprentice, and completed NVQ training in 2004. He is an important member of the team working along side the others carrying out servicing and repairs and is likely to be one of the first to greet you as a customer when you visit the garage.

Victoria provides essential unpaid work supporting all the team, helps ensure we are customer friendly and brings in lots of donuts for us all!

Ian helped out at the garage in his school holidays, and joined the garage full time when he left school in 1999, taking an apprenticeship. Following successful completion of his NVQ training, he has been on numerous courses specialising in air conditioning. A Volvo fanatic, and a regular competitor in Motor Sport with his Peugeot 205 GTI

Darcy is the sister of Rupert and enjoys lots of cuddles with Dean & Kelly. Darcy also enjoys removing rubbish from the bin on a daily basis, tennis balls, food & squeaking. Her least favourite thing is the Cat!
